I also enjoyed how affectionate they were with each other out of the blue, like their unexpected hugs, kisses, and cuddling. He's an open gay (although sometimes it didn't appear like it) he's one of the main keys I the mayor plot twist.

There are 4 more books planned for this series, featuring some characters introduced in this volume (not all hockey, but all college MM sports romances, as far as I can tell), so I cannot wait! I love my smut don’t get me wrong but I would have loved to see them a little more individually and to see them together a little more outside their smexy time. I know this is enemies with benefits but like idk, I wanted more sweet moments like their ice skating date and the other date night. Music is her love language, and traveling the country (and world) is the way she chooses to find most of her inspiration for whatever epic love story she will tell next!Quinn stole my heart in this book, and while he was cynical and moody, all he really needed was somebody to be there for him!

Hello Christian Fox - I‘ve missed your voice in my ears :) This book was fantastic when I read it - but even better in audio.

Fries my nervous system, short circuiting my brain enough to make our rivalry seem like a thing of the past. I thought the transition into enemies with benefits due to this stupid superstition was completely stupid. The dynamic between Oak and Quinn, which commenced with enmity, gradually evolved into a charged undercurrent of sexual tension that grew increasingly palpable. Add in all the little chuckles, grunts, sighs and all that emotion in their voices…they brought them to life!It’s more of a sketched style of artwork, the linework messy but the shading and depth created in it is impeccable. I just can actually appreciate when the plot/conflict of a sports romance actually includes sports related issues.

I absolutely loved Oakley and Quinton’s story here as they go from bitter rivals/teammates to steamy AF lovers….Recommend it for a light and quirky read, enternraing, but I would not reread it and not the best book either. These boys get naughty on several instances in this book, and MM spice fans will LOVE every second of it. His bi-awakening (I'm only assuming as it's never actually really discussed where his sexuality lands) is so, so sweet. Quinton and Oakley have nothing in common except hockey and this rivalry they have has been going on for nearly 4 years now with no chance of letting up anytime soon. So as they find a reason to spend more time together and are forced to get to know each other, their connection isn’t only in the bedroom.
