Its body features a sense of layered structure, and the shell unit, which was not recreated in the HG version of this kit, is made with three-dimensional unevenness, mechanical moulding, and plated parts to create an illusion of light emission! There are a few parts with visible seams, mostly on the legs and shoulder armor, but that is a very good result as Bandai was able to hide the rest extremely well. Skill Level 2 kits require basic plastic model assembly techniques, such as cutting parts from the runners, and cutting or sanding away the remains of the gates (the place where the part was connected to the runner). While initially able to overpower the Darilbalde and even achieving Permet Score 8, the Aerial Rebuild loses the duel due to sabotage by Miorine Rembran and Prospera Mercury, and as part of the wager between the dueling parties the Aerial Rebuild is thus taken away from Suletta by Prospera.

With its previous limits being unlocked due to reaching Permet Score 8 and thus allowing the dormant Ericht Samaya residing inside the Gundam to control the mobile suit herself, the Gundam Aerial Rebuild is taken to Quiet Zero to serve as its control center, where it uses the technology aboard the space fortress to defeat multiple Space Assembly League assaults through a combination of a powerful data storm field and a remote-controlled army of XGF-E3 Gundnodes.
