But seeming as how it’s meant to… invoke certain feelings in the reader, it was a little (ok, extremely) hard to swallow and wrap my mind around it. Life hasn’t always been kind to Montana, but each of the challenges she has faced she has turned into a positive outcome, and has made her want to achieve her dream that much more.

The one thing I really love about this series is how well the author does pick up where the previous books left off. Montana loves to travel, and has found inspiration while exploring the USA and Canada with her wonderful husband. It’s not the worst book I’ve read but definitely won’t spend time reminiscing over this book and will never want to read this book for the first time again. She leads an active lifestyle and enjoys many different cuisines, often referring to herself as a garlic bread connoisseur.But to have someone forcefully make another person give oral, and then convincing themselves and the other person that it was good for them too? She doesn't have any large gaps of time or make the reader feel like they are missing out on something that could have happened. Grant it the book didn’t start with Snow falling for Elijah right off the bat, but I literally couldn’t put it down. However in the grand scheme of female representation in mafia fiction I do want to give the author props for making Snow stand up to her family.

I hate the way Snow felt about herself at times but then could totally relate to her too but thank goodness she had Elijah to build her up. There were so many times in the book that she could have told her family what was going on and I really don’t think Elijah could do anything about plus her family is supposed to be scary mafia. In my opinion I think this book was a little spicier than the previous books which I loved, especially when a certain toy was involved. Elijah has wanted Snow for over ten years and when the opportunity comes to take her, he does, he knows she’s his he just has to show her how much he wants her. Elijah knew what he wanted he wants a queen to rule beside him not behind him, there relationship is rocky at first since she doesn't trust him and doesn't love the idea of being away from her family plus hes OTT for her lol.Absolutely a waste of time and makes me sick thinking about how this abuse and r*pe is being glorified. It’s not that I haven’t earned that title, because I have, and for the last few years I’ve been playing the wild child just so I have a role at all. To say that she is the most precious treasure and that she is a strong and worthy warrior, but then always forcing her to submit to his physical needs even when she’s on her period, AND when she has said no.

She loves to travel the world, but also loves to have her head in a spicy book in her home library and office.

But seeing as the actions of both the main characters were extremely stupid and reckless, I can see any person with a proper functioning brain taking them out. Just like the other two in the series this book had me hooked for beginning to end and I couldn’t put it down. I was actually far more invested in where this random threat was going than I normally am in a romance novel! Every male in this series is a full on alpha and possessive but Elijah definitely tops them all so far.
