As stated, Interstellar already looked fabulous on Blu-ray, but that image was not without its faults, despite the mostly jaw-dropping results. This marked his first collaboration with cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema, who would later shoot Dunkirk, and the two are both almost equally impressive, with Interstellar particularly benefiting from some jaw-dropping space sequences.

I often hear from enthusiasts who rate the quality of movie soundtracks by the amount and depth of the bass it produces. It was interesting to learn how they sought out to make the robots as human as possible without actually being human and functional as well.Audiences with a deep-rooted love for and strong familiarity with the science-fiction genre will quickly note the lack of originality in Christopher Nolan's epic adventure Interstellar, freely taking inspiration from a variety of sources and beloved film classics. The Space Suits – Nothing too mind-blowing here, just a look at the space suits, how they really don’t differ too much from those used today as well as the practical fit for the actors. There was only one interior car scene I remember early on that the black levels were a little light, but understandably so, our onscreen characters were in the middle of escaping from a gigantic dust storm.

Set in the near future, crop blight has caused civilization to regress into a failing agrarian society. It didn’t hurt the film with a freshly-crowned Oscar winner by the name of Matthew McConaughey in the lead role, either. The story of Interstellar has to do with the same old subject worn over and over in the world of science fiction, the doom and gloom of our planet.

In the book he talks up the universe of Interstellar, the wormhole, the black holes, the fifth dimension and so much more that will blow your mind. encode, surpassing the Blu-ray by light-years, though some mild turbulence keeps it shy of a perfect flight.

Low Frequency Extension: My three canines absolutely hated this surround track as it shook the living room and they were unable to rest comfortably because the LFE subwoofer channel literally rocked the floor in obliteration. Yes we’re not getting a few of his movies and no we’re not getting new atmospheric surround audio packages, but we’re getting something so much more important. With some of the more action-oriented scenes, it’s no surprise that the speakers come alive, the LFE fire up and shake the room. Occasionally I found myself struggling to hear dialog especially when blended with an active sequence shared by effects and music.Everything is so appropriately balanced and authentic throughout that I am at a loss for words (imagine that) to describe it all here. The film might struggle in its third act but in an age of reboots, remarks and sequels, we should applaud original filmmaking. Night Shyamalan story-like qualities to it rather than a straightforward Nolan one, and those sentiments alone most likely represent why it was probably for the best that things did not work out well with Spielberg’s initial attachment here. The Simulation of Zero-G – Gravity plays a huge role in the film and has multiple repercussions, though this is more focused on the actors’ and how they dealt with varying degrees of gravity. It's a continuously taut juggernaut of epic space action accompanied by Hans Zimmer's organ-infused score.
