Cheetor boarded the Axalon alongside Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Rhinox, Air-Razor and Tigertron to go after the Predacons to get the Golden Disk and the Key. After the Axalon crashed on a mysterious planet for 4 million years, Cheetor adopted the form of a cheetah upon arriving. As he raced the cheetahs and fell behind, he urged them to wait for him. While the cheetahs were running, Cheetor noticed a giant wasp flying above him and the other cheetahs. With deductive reasoning, Cheetor was able to conclude that the wasp was really Waspinator and prepared to fight the adversary. As he fired at the Predacon, he was in disbelief as Waspinator dodged all of his blasts. Accessories: 2 sets of alternate hands, 1 "tail blaster", 1 Energon crystal, 2 blast effect accessories Much like Optimus Primal, at some point during the development of The Last Knight, Cheetor was considered to appear in the movie. Various designs were concepted during the film's production.

A tiny plastic Cheetor figurine molded onto an irregularly-shaped stand was released by Kabaya. Labeled toy 4 of 6, the other characters in his wave were Dinobot, Rattrap, Megatron, Optimus Primal, and Rhinox. As always, terrible candy is included. This mold was also used to make Shadow Panther/ Tripredacus Agent and Tigatron. It was slated to be used for Universe Nightprowler, but that toy set was canceled. In Japan, this toy was released as a JafCon convention exclusive, under the name of "Metals Cheetus Silver", along with the "Fox Kids" versions of Transmetal Airazor and Transmetal Rattrap. His rivalry with Stinger is similar to Bumblebee and Wasp when they first met in Maximal Boot Camp.

Acting on Slipstream's intelligence, Bumblebee returned to the missile silo only for Cheetor to discover that the AllSpark was no longer present. Upon returning to the Ark, a distress came in from the Nemesis, under siege from Starscream. Arriving, the strike team found the Decepticons to have been paralyzed by a scraplet swarm. After being separated from Optimus and Windblade, Bumblebee told Cheetor to press on and find the AllSpark even as the scraplets swarmed him. While Cheetor failed to retrieve the AllSpark, he did manage to have it send out a wave of energy that healed the Nemesis and everyone aboard. Starscream's Children

Cheetor of the Fur Walkers was forged on the colony world of Eukaris, emerging from the hot spot of his world's Titan, Chela. As the "Talon of Onyx Prime", Chela championed his Prime's love of beast-formers over standard-formers, likely influencing the beast modes of his people. By modern times, the people of Eukaris had divided into four major tribes. Cheetor was representative of the Fur Walkers on the rare occasion the tribes met under a white flag for talks.
