Presumably because of the lower 7.2 VDC output voltage of the SmallRig charger (vs 8.4 VDC) and the higher capacity of the Fuji battery. Using the 24MP compressed raw option allowed me to capture this moment of touchdown at the end of an extended burst of frames. I got a charger with both of my Fuji cameras, thats one more than I need as they take the same battery, 50% waste, no way to 'save the planet', you have a means of charging the battery, in camera, just like your phone, you want more? Pay for it. Peak Design straps have a lot of great options for the Fujifilm mirrorless system. I often use the Clutch hand strap with an additional strap attached. Peak Design Clutch Camera Strap HardGraft– Instant Camera Strap – HardGraft makes some really nice straps of outstanding quality. I’ve been using the Re-Process strap for years with my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and love it. They have many options now and are definitely worth considering.

Like most Fujifilm cameras, the X-T series was originally devised for photography first, a joint flagship alongside the X-Pro for those who preferred SLR styling over a rangefinder. Photography newbies may have a bit of trouble with the fact that there’s not a green labeled auto mode. You have to turn the shutter speed dial, aperture dial, and ISO dial to the A position for that. But, the XT5 isn’t designated as an entry-level camera, and photographers familiar with manual mode will probably love the simple labeled controls for shutter speed and ISO. The X-T series has sometimes enjoyed flagship status, and indeed the X-T4 was the top-line Fuji camera from the time of its release, while also being a slight departure from earlier models. Its silhouette is a bit larger and a front-facing LCD was added to meet the wants and needs of videographers. You have to pre-select the subject type – the camera can’t recognise animals and birds at the same time. The X-H1 had a separate mains transformer to charge the grip/power the camera. Thanks to better power efficiency the expected life is upped to 580 shots per charge, a decent increase over the 500 pictures you can expect from the X-T4. The Canon EOS R7 does better with a 660-shot rating, though we'll note that in all cases you'll likely get more pictures per charge. And if you use high-speed burst modes you'll get thousands easily. Both of these brands use brass filter threads so you won’t have to worry about them getting jammed on your lens. If you’re unsure about if you’ll like one of these filters, you can try a cheaper option by K&F Concept. As Fujifilm’s technologies improved though, the X-T evolved to become more adept at fast action, sports and wildlife photography, as well as growing into a very capable tool for video, and in turn the body gradually beefed-up to better-handle bigger lenses while also acquiring a side-hinged screen.
