We are sorry to hear you have encountered software issues, I have requested more information so we can assist you further. It now looks like nextbase is asking for more information regarding my review, if they do this and I do not reply then the review gets removed. Ask away nextbase. Need more information? , how about this. Your app doesn't connect to the camera. You clearly need to do something about it. I only hope it records and saves crash footage properly!!

If we can help with anything in the future, we are more than happy to help :) a) Before you start, you'll need to mount the SD or micro SD card on your Mac. If you have a Mac with an SD card slot, use that. If not, you’ll need an SD card adapter. Finally had enough and bought a new one, be careful of buying a nextbase seen so many problems with this sort of software problem. Includes: 5V Mini USB power cable, 2 Amp ATO/C fuse (standard), 2 Amp ATM fuse (mini), Fuse tap table (standard), Fuse tap cable ATM (mini) and Ferrite core to remove electrical interference.Total Length = 5 metres.Regarding the recording lengths, the camera will record continuously in small segments (1,2, or 3 minutes). It will record these segments consecutively until the SD card is full. Then the oldest piece of footage will be deleted and the newest will be saved in it's place. This will continue looping and is called Continuous Overwriting. The Dash Cam does this automatically to allow for more footage to be recorded and the old, unnecessary footage to be deleted without manual intervention. However Protected footage is not overwritten in the same way. These can fill the card and reduce the quantity of normal footage saved on your SD card. If you cannot format the card via the app, you could remove the card and open it on your computer in a card reader, and simply delete the files.
