Bittersweet Memories is the 4th and final book in Catharina Maura’s Off-Limits series and this is the one I always hear people recommend! I recently binged the whole series and was looking forward to this one as I feel like each book in the series got better and better! And that was definitely true with this book, I loved it. At the opening of the story, Adrian has just met a distraught Leia in a bar and decided to engage in some role play which ends in an awesome night that none of them have ever had. Unknown to Grayson and Aria, they have both been speaking with an anonymous user on the platform and have over the weeks started falling in love with each other. Catharina Maura who is otherwise known as CA Maura when writing paranormal romance is a fantasy and paranormal romance author. Over the many years that she has been actively writing romance, she has made a reputation for writing bestselling billionaire romances that her readers love for the small hint of the forbidden.

Given that he is a professional, he intends to do what is expected of him until he meets Amara Astor. He just cannot away from Amara, which just makes both their lives complicated. The Windsors and Harrisons agree to a merger — on one condition: Zane and Celeste must marry each other. When he sees Aria in action, he decides to give her a job and offers her a place to live in his penthouse in Silicon Valley. But Aria has a secret that a lot of people even those close to her do not know about. Oh my heart! This story was such a roller coaster of events and emotions. It was tragic and desperate, yet also filled with so much hope and optimism as love blossomed in the tundra of life. The blurb doesn't prepare you for the story that unfolds. I was completely hooked by Silas and Alanna's journey. Silas was ever hopeful and determined. He was stoic, powerful and commanding, but with such a vulnerable, gentle core. Alanna was stubborn and so strong in the face of adversity. Their story was complicated and mired in mystery and machinations. Their connection was intense and destined, and showcased that love truly conquers all. Such a fabulous read! However, Catharina Maura still gets surprised every single time one of the readers of her novels reaches out to declare that they love her books.

With very few choices, she decides to take up a job offer from her brother’s best friend. The whole Windsors series, Forever After All, Professor Astor, and Bittersweet Memories are narrated in duet style, whereby all of a character's lines are read by the same narrator, regardless of the chapter's point of view. Narrators include Sebastian York, Joe Arden, CJ Bloom, and Maxine Mitchell amongst others. Ethnically, she is Surinamese even though if you would like to be more specific, she is Indo-Surinamese. Her grandparents had moved from India to Suriname under the guise of indentured labor in the 1800s.

She is now known for her penchant for penning some angsty stories that can be very intriguing. She currently lives in Hong Kong but given her wanderlust, she has at some point made her home in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.However, the new job comes with many stipulations which he may find difficult to adhere to. He is never to sleep with the students or patients and most important of all, he is to stay away from the granddaughter of Harold Astor. I also found myself a bit bored during the second half of the book, and the whole brother being in love with Alanna storyline was super annoying to me. I wished that the brother kept to his previous words about using Alanna, because I was so frustrated that the problem was a love triangle instead of her simply having amnesia. I think that's also just me hating on love triangles, so it's definitely a personal preference thing lol. Fast forward two years and Leia and Adrian meet again. Since she had been hurt, Leia has set boundaries in her relationship with Adrian who reluctantly agrees.
